PRESS RELEASE "TROPHIES OF THE 114" JUMPING FROM 28 JUNE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION TO 01 JULY 2012 CLUB 114 (LA SOUKRA).
Tunis, July 09, 2012: Club 114 sis at La Soukra hosted from June 28 to July 01, the first international jumping competition held in Tunisia.
This competition (category 1 CSI **) was organized under the auspices and in accordance with the regulations of FEI - International Equestrian Federation.
The international jury consisted of: Mr. Youcef Hamadache (Algeria) - Chairman of the Board, Mr. Hussam Zummit (Libya) - judge, Mr. Youssef Mehiri (Tunisia) - judge, Mr. Mohamed Chaouachi (Tunisia) - judge, Mr Bilel Kammoun (Tunisia) - judge, Mr. Yassine Motemri (Tunisia) - veterinary delegate FEI, Mr. Olivier Billaud (France) - head of track and Mr. Alexandre Gros (France) - Chief Stewart while Ms. Martine Moulard assured the secretariat of competition.
The total number of leavers in the 11 events that constituted this competition amounted to 175 from six nations: Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, France and Belgium. It should be noted that Libyan and Egyptian Cavalry respond with horses loaned by the Club 114.
The financial allocation of the competition amounted to Efficy dinars completed by prices in nature.
In light of their numerical superiority, the Tunisian cavaliers have won 6 of 8 events of the CSI while the France won 2 of the 8 events.
